Why 'Christ Is King' Isn't Just a Slogan

Three words show up on more of our shirts than anything else: Christ is King.

It would be easy to treat that as merchandise copy — bold letters, good on a hoodie, done. But it isn't a slogan we picked because it looks good in a retro sunset gradient. It's a claim. A specific, old, uncomfortable claim that has nothing to do with trend cycles.

A claim, not a vibe

"Christ is King" isn't a mood. It's a statement about who's actually in charge — not the news cycle, not your job, not the version of you that only shows up on your best days. It's a claim that outlasts whatever's currently loud.

That's why we keep coming back to it in new forms: retro vaporwave, cross and crown of thorns, sunrise over a mountain. Different linework, same three words underneath. The design changes. The claim doesn't.

Worn in, not worn out

We've said it before and we'll keep saying it: this isn't a costume. Nobody needs a t-shirt to have faith. But there's something to putting a true thing where you can see it — on your chest, on a friend's chest, on a stranger's chest in line at the store. It's a small, quiet way of saying I actually believe this, not performing it.

If that's the kind of shirt you're looking for, the collection is a good place to start.
